Ethical and Professional Standards

I am committed to transparent, evidence-based and ethical coaching that puts the clients' interests at the heart of my coaching practice. I recognise the responsibility that comes from supporting individuals at difficult and potentially vulnerable junctures of their lives. With these commitments, I strive to contribute to the upholding of ethical and professional standards in an unregulated profession.

As part of this commitment, Iit is important ot me to be transparent about the code of ethics I follow, the commitments I make to my clients, and the accountability mechanisms that exist if you have concerns with the service I provide.

Forms with personal data and recordings are stored securely with password-protected access. Session notes will be deleted at the end of our coaching engagement. You may request the deletion of your session notes at any point. Recordings will be deleted as soon as possible after use and no later than 12 months after being recorded.

Scope-of-practice – coaching does not replace therapy, diagnosis or medication management. I cannot refer directly to other professionals but can provide a list of appropriate sources to supportyour choice of an appropriate provider. Should your needs be beyond the scope of coaching and client safety during our engagement, we reserve the right to end your coaching agreement and will make an appropriate refund for time which has not been used where necessary.

Inclusion & accessibility – I strive to make my practice safe and welcoming, trauma-informed, neuro-affirming, inclusive, culturally responsive practice.

Data privacy & GDPR – session notes are stored in 256-bit-encrypted cloud storage on EU servers. See my Privacy Policy.

Supervision & mentor-coaching – I engage in continuous work with supervisors and mentors (minimum 10 hours per year). This ongoing professional support provides a confidential space to reflect on my coaching practice, ensures I maintain ethical boundaries and recognise my own blind spots, supports my continued professional development, and offers an external perspective that helps me provide you with the highest quality coaching. Regular supervision is considered best practice in helping professions precisely because it protects clients by keeping coaches accountable and self-aware.

Review of Outcomes  –I review client outcomes every 12 sessions to ensure our work remains focused, effective, and aligned with your goals. This also allows us to adjust our approach collaboratively and supports my commitment to evidence-based, accountable practice.
